Terms of Service

These terms cover everything you need to know about shopping with HomeUp in Kingston, Jamaica. We've kept the legalese to a minimum so the agreement is easy to read.

1. Who we are

HomeUp is a Jamaican-registered home decor retailer operating from Kingston. By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, please reach out before you order — we will happily explain.

2. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept by sending a dispatch confirmation. Until that point we may decline or cancel an order (for example if a price was wrong or the piece is damaged in transit to us).

3. Prices and currency

Prices on this site are in Jamaican dollars by default. A USD toggle is provided as a convenience for our diaspora customers; charges are always processed in JMD at the live rate on the day of payment.

4. Delivery

We deliver across Jamaica and offer white-glove service in Kingston & St. Andrew. Risk passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you provided.

5. Returns

See our refund policy for the details. In short: 14 days for in-stock pieces, 30 days for made-to-order, and we pay return shipping for anything that arrived damaged.

6. Warranty

Every piece is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from misuse, accidents or weather exposure is not covered.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or business interruption.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kingston.
